offers a wide variety of data collection readers and terminals for the Jupiter Time &
Attendance software: swipe card terminals that read barcode/magstripe,
and proximity badge readers; biometric solutions (hand readers, fingerprint readers), and virtual punch options that require no specialized hardware,
terminals or other readers. Cards used for Time & Attendance are also interchangeable between swipe card terminals and access control devices.
Jantek Web applications are designed using a 3-Tier architecture which incorporates Multi-threaded COM+ applications as the middle tier and a SQL Server database as the backend tier. The entire calculation engine and business logic are built into COM+ applications and run on the server itself. This technology gives outstanding performance and stability even on low speed network.

Swipe Card Terminal STD JC CS The JTA-350PC swipe card terminal can be used to input department and job
transfers. Employees can view their previous punches at the terminal and request to see their
total hours worked for the current pay period.
Time &
Attendance supervisors can add, delete, and view time clock punches at the terminal using the supervisor badge. Magstripe, barcode and proximity readers are
available for this swipe card terminal.

Biometric Hand Reader

solution. The HandPunch Biometric hand reader uses the shape and size of your
employees hands to verify their identity each time they
punch, using Biometrics.
No fingerprint or palm prints are utilized on this hand reader. It eliminates buddy punching and the cost of creating
and administering badges, as with other Time & Attendance terminals and readers.

Employees can punch IN and OUT through the
Internet or company intranet using a web browser. It integrates directly to the
SQL database, eliminating the need to collect data.
In addition, powerful messaging features alert users when there are
unviewed public and/or private messages. Employees can also review
total hours worked in the pay period and previous punches.
Web Punch CS utilizes a 3-tier architecture to give excellent performance on even a low speed network as the entire calculation engine and business logic run solely on the server machine.
Web Punch is also available in a non-SQL version, compatible with the standard Jupiter Time & Attendance software.

Wireless Web Punch CS Harnessing the power of Internet
connectivity and mobile phone technology, Wireless Web Punch allows
employees to register their attendance using any Web enabled cellular
phone. Both IN and OUT punches, as well as Job transfers are
